Verra Launches Next-Generation Registry with S&P Global Energy

Verra launched its new registry powered by S&P Global Energy, migrating more than 5,900 projects, 10,500 account holders, 1.4 billion credits and 125,000 documents. Integrated with the Verra Project Hub, the platform enables users to track projects from pipeline listing and validation through issuance, transfer and retirement in one place. The upgrade also improves reporting, searchability, KYC workflows and tracking of methodology versions and verification bodies. Future phases are expected to introduce transaction-ready APIs, enhanced Article 6 functionality and deeper integration with exchanges, brokers and marketplaces. Core fees and account requirements remain unchanged.
